Professor Meng-Xing Tang |

Professor Mengxing Tang joined the Department of Bioengineering, Imperial College as a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in 2006, and was promoted to a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in 2011, a Reader in 2015, and a Professor in Biomedical Imaging in 2018. Before moving to London, he was a Departmental Lecturer in the Department of Engineering Science, University of Oxford. He founded the Ultrasound Laboratory for Imaging and Sensing (ULIS, previously known as the Ultrasound Imaging Group) at Imperial College in 2006. His research has been funded by EPSRC, the Wellcome Trust, CRUK, the Royal Society, and Badrit Foundation. He is an Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control, and is on the Editorial Advisory Board of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology. |
